Continued PSP/WISPR Observations of a Phaethon-related Dust Trail

چکیده
We present an update to the first white-light detections of a dust trail observed closely following orbit asteroid (3200) Phaethon, as seen by Wide-field Imager for Parker Solar Probe (WISPR) instrument on NASA (PSP) mission. Here we provide summary and analysis observations over nine separate mission encounters between October 2018 August 2021 that saw spacecraft approach within 0.0277 au Phaethon. find photometric estimated mass properties be inline with those in initial publication, visual (V) magnitude approximately 16.1$\pm$0.3 per pixel, corresponding surface brightness 26.1 mag arcsec$^{-2}$, range $10^{10}$ kg - $10^{12}$ depending assumed properties. However, key finding this survey is discovery does not perfectly follow clear separation noted them increases function true anomaly, though may differ from Phaethon's little 1-degree periapsis.

Leonid Dust Trail Theories
At the end of the 19th century, Irish astronomers Johnstone Stoney and A.M.W. Downing showed in principle how to predict meteor storms. Their work and later developments applying similar ideas are reviewed here. The theories essentially involve determining the dynamical behavior of dust trails, which are narrow, dense structures within a broader stream. The formation of dust trails and the main...

Introduction: Breast milk is the best nutrition for infants. Although feeding mostly begins with breast milk but its continuation is ignored in some cases. In this regard, identification of related factors to breastfeeding is important. Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine related factors to continuing breastfeeding in hospitalized infants. ...
متن کاملGeneralized Continued Logarithms and Related Continued Fractions
We study continued logarithms as introduced by Bill Gosper and studied by J. Borwein et. al.. After providing an overview of the type I and type II generalizations of binary continued logarithms introduced by Borwein et. al., we focus on a new generalization to an arbitrary integer base b. We show that all of our so-called type III continued logarithms converge and all rational numbers have fin...

متن کاملThe formation of Encke meteoroids and dust trail
We observed comet 2P/Encke with the Infrared Space Observatory ISOCAM on July 14, 1997 from a particularly favorable viewing geometry above the comet’s orbital plane and at a distance of 0.25 AU. A structured coma was observed, along with a long, straight dust trail. For the first time, we are able to observe the path of particles as they evolve from the nucleus to the trail. The particles that...
